Job summary

Griffin Health is seeking a Scrub Technician to assist in the operative suite under RN supervision during C-Sections. The role includes daily patient care tasks, routine and stat blood draws, and providing support in patient documentation and orders as needed.

The candidate should have CNA or PCT certification, with a preference for 5 years of patient care experience. EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled.

Qualifications

• Must have patient care experience.
• CNA or PCT certification is required.
• 5 years of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the attending surgical team in the operative suite as a scrub technician under RN supervision during C-Sections.
• Perform routine and stat blood draws and assist in patient care under RN supervision.
• If needed, execute unit clerk duties such as answering calls, transcribing orders, and charting.

Job description

Main Function: Assist the attending surgical suite during operative procedure through the performance of various duties and responsibilities of a scrub technician under the supervision of an R.N. during C-Sections. The OB Tech will also perform routine and "stat" blood draws and assist in the care of patients under the supervision of an R.N. Where required, he/she will perform unit clerk activities i.e. answer phone calls, transcribe order, and make charts.

Experience:Must have patient care experience. 5 years preferred.

CNA or PCT required.
