NMC Health's Family Birth Center in Newton, KS is seeking an OB Technician for the full-time night shift (3pm–3am).

Qualifications

OB Technician (Full Time)
Location: Family Birth Center (FBC) - 600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS, 67114

In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients which includes the comprehensive assessment of patient family needs, planning, coordination, teaching, counseling, and direct physical care.

As an OB Technician you will use your dedication and compassion to be a vital link between our patients. our nurses and other facility staff. Additionally:

• Help with setting up for deliveries
• Answering call lights
• Stocking
• Setting up for procedures
• Birth certificates
• Delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups every day
• General Clerical Activities

This is a Full-Time night shift position (3pm-3am)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of nurse assistant schooling preferred
• 1-year medical experience

Licensure, Registration or Certification:

• Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support preferred (will help obtain if you do not currently have it)
