Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for performing patient care, surgical procedures, and clerical duties under licensed nursing supervision.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a major operating room or is a graduate of an approved Technical School. The position offers a challenging work environment with excellent benefits.
Responsible for performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School or one (1) year of on-the-job experience in a major operating room.
Experience: One (1) year ORT job experience in major operating room may replace OR Technical School requirement.
License/Certification: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.2185, sec.1.(c) "Engaged in the practice of surgical technology in a health care facility before January 1, 2018". Current BLS Certification.
Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
