Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, seeks a certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams. Under supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will assist with patient care, procedures, and standardized clerical duties.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or eligible U.S. Public Health Service training, CST certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications:
Education High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a surgical technologist program that is accredited by a national accrediting organization or a successor organization or must have successfully completed a training program for surgical technologist administered by the US Public Health Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard.
Experience One year’s experience in an operating room preferred
License/Certification New Hires-Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting is required. Current BLS Certification is required. Current Employees/Internal Transfers-Employees hired into this position and working as a CST as of 01/01/2018 are exempt from the NBSTA requirement. CST certification is required. Current BLS is required.
Other Participation in AORT encouraged. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient
