Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an OB Scrub Technician to assist the RN in delivering quality patient care on the obstetrics unit. The role includes performing surgical scrubs for obstetrical deliveries and emergencies, maintaining LDRs and surgical suites, and handling related clerical duties.

High School diploma required; Certified Surgical Technician preferred with BLS certification. The position is PRN with responsibilities expanding to include other duties within the scope of the role, as needed

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Certified Surgical Technician preferred, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in providing quality patient care during the assigned shift.
• Perform surgical scrub for obstetrical deliveries and obstetrical emergencies.
• Maintain supplies in the LDRs and surgical suites; perform clerical duties when needed.
