Job summary

Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital is seeking an OB RN for night shifts in the postpartum and nursery units. You will assess postpartum and newborn patients, develop and execute nursing care plans, and collaborate with physicians and families to ensure safe mother/baby care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN licensure, and CPR/BLS; NRP and ACLS are expected within one year. Perinatal experience is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license with Texas State Board.
• Minimum six months clinical perinatal experience (preferred).
• Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• Maintain current BLS.
• Within 1 year: 6 hours breastfeeding education.
• Annual requirement: 20 hours of continuing education.

• Assess postpartum and nursery patients promptly and form care plans.
• Provide nursing care for neonates and women of childbearing age.
• Implement actions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust plans as needed.

OB RN Labor Nights

Demonstrates a working knowledge of the postpartum and nursery nursing process, performs prompt assessment, forms plan of care, implements actions, and evaluates appropriately for the postpartum/nursery patients. Provides care for neonates and female patients of childbearing age.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Maintains current RN license with Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners. Six months minimal clincal experience, perinatal preferred. Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation and ACLS course within one year of hire. Must maintain current BLS. Obtain 6 hours of breastfeeding education within one year and 20 hours of continuing education annually.
