Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Oklahoma is seeking a Women’s Care/Obstetrics Unit RN to join our OB Team. This full-time position supports labor, delivery, postpartum and neonatal care within the CNMC OB services, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

The role emphasizes patient education, safe medication administration, fetal monitoring, and adherence to OB standards of care. Training and certifications such as BLS/ALS/NRP may be required within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; RN license required.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Pass general background check and hold Oklahoma RN license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transport to higher level of care when needed.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per policy.
• Monitor fetal heart tones and labor/delivery status.
• Provide education to patients and families on medications and pain management.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in OB procedures.
