Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Obstetrics (OB) at St. Francis Medical Center in Richmond to deliver exceptional nursing care in a women’s health setting. The role involves teamwork with the care team and providing comprehensive OB nursing across outpatient and inpatient units.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of RN experience, OB/ED/CC background preferred, and credentials including RN licensure and BLS/ACLS potential. EPIC EHR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred upon hire; must obtain before direct patient care); ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (preferred within 3 months of hire).
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (preferred).
• One year of professional RN experience.
• Recent OB, ED or Critical Care experience (preferred).
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provides obstetrical/women's health nursing care for outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Applies the nursing process during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, gynecologic care and neonatal care.
• Delivers triage, prioritization, assessment, education, stabilization and emergency management.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
