Job summary

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while maintaining infection control and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Uses knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team as needed.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and operates medical equipment safely.
• Participates in audits, compliance checks, and quality improvement initiatives.
