Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia seeks an OB technician who, under a Registered Nurse's guidance, assists in maternity and surgical services, providing patient care for comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation in line with department policies and standards. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of internal PCT program or CNA course, plus BLS.

Weekend and call rotation with a 30-minute response time.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and complete internal PCT program or CNA course.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: CNA course completion, EMT.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maternity and surgical services under a Registered Nurse's guidance.
• Provide patient care for comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation.
• Participate in call and weekend rotation with 30-minute response time.
