Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or complete internal PCT program within 30 days of hire.
• CNA course or equivalent certification.
• Stroke, Orthopedic/Spine certifications per hospital requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in the maternity area under a Registered Nurse.
• Provide patient care for comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation.
• Communicate with patients and staff effectively; maintain Augusta Health documentation.
• Meet physical and mental requirements for a fast-paced nursing unit; participate in required call/weekend rotations.
