Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery OR. You will anticipate the surgeon’s needs and maintain a sterile field while assisting with instrument handling and patient care under an RN supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program.
• 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist.
• 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during obstetrical operations in the Labor and Delivery OR.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain the sterile field throughout the procedure.
• Perform patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
