Qualifications

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Follows hospital policy on patient safety, infection prevention and patient care.
• Maintains central lines and prevents surgical site infections.
• Delivers quality nursing care including medications and patient teaching.
• Documents care activities and quality monitoring to support decision making.
• Communicates patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes.
• Delegates appropriately while fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Educates patients and families to support health care outcomes.
