Job summary

Tufts Medicine-MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an outstanding OB Laborist to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology team in Melrose, MA. This role focuses on inpatient obstetrics with dedicated anesthesia, neonatology, and ICU support around the clock.

The position offers 8–12 hour shifts, strong emphasis on work-life balance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN with MA license eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN.
• Eligible for or licensed in Massachusetts.
• Experience in hospital-based obstetrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery.
• Manage triage evaluations and admissions.
• Perform gynecologic consults and urgent care.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and physician colleagues.
• Participate in quality initiatives and patient safety programs.
