Job summary

Mid-Valley Hospital is seeking an Obstetrical Nurse to provide comprehensive obstetric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will support labor and delivery, assist physicians, monitor fetal status, and educate new mothers about postpartum care and breastfeeding.

The role requires 1–3 years of acute care nursing with obstetrics/L&D experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and ACLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: 1–3 years acute care nursing experience, with 1–3 years Labor and Delivery experience.
• Certification/Licensure: ACLS, CPR, Neonatal resuscitation certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for obstetrical patients through all areas of patient care in hospital setting.
• Assist delivering physician with vaginal exams, rupture of membranes, and delivery procedures.
• Monitor fetal status, administer medications, and manage post-delivery care for mother and newborn.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and communication with family and healthcare team.
