Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our OB Hospitalist team. This full‑time role provides a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to deliver exceptional patient care at Wellstar MCG Hospital in Augusta, GA, including 14‑hour night shifts and weekend call shifts.

The ideal candidate will have an MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, GA licensure, and 3+ years of experience, with a commitment to high‑quality obstetric

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
• 3+ years of experience in OB/GYN.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery for assigned and unassigned patients.
• Shift and deliveries at Wellstar MCG.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Help oversee the OB ED.
• Collaborate with residents.
• Manage OB and GYN emergencies.
