Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our OB Hospitalist team. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and midwives dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

The role requires covering a minimum of 144 hours per month, including 7 to 9‑hour night shifts (5 p‑7 a) and one to two 24‑hour weekend call shifts (8 a‑8 a) per month at Wellstar MCG Hospital in

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
• 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery for assigned and unassigned patients.
• Shifts and deliveries at Wellstar MCG.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Help oversee the OB ED.
• Collaborate with residents.
• Manage OB and GYN emergencies.
