Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OB-Hospitalist to join our dynamic women’s health team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic hospital-based care to a diverse patient population.
Practice Details
  • Annual Deliveries:1,924
    • 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists annually
    • C-Section rate:40%
  • OB/GYN Triage Visits (annually):2,296 unscheduled visits
  • OBED Consults (annually):1,229 consults
  • NICU Level:II (in collaboration with in-house neonatologists and neonatal NPs)
  • High-Risk Pregnancy Management:In partnership with maternal-fetal medicine specialists
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and manage inpatient care
  • Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
  • Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for gynecologic emergencies
  • Assist in surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in Labor & Delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatology and MFM specialists, to deliver high-quality patient care
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology(within 5 years of residency completion)
  • Active Texas Medical License
  • Prior OB-hospitalist or high-volume obstetrics experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, emergency GYN, and inpatient care
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
