Marietta Memorial Medical Center and Mercy Health - St. Rita’s Medical Center are seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join their team in Ohio. The role supports emergent obstetric care, collaborates with nurses and ED, and provides coverage for private practice physicians.

Responsibilities

• Care for all pregnant women presenting emergently.
• Cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel.
• Support private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance.
• Care for unassigned patients and evaluate triage cases.
• Provide consultation to the ED.
• Monitor labor and deliver babies; perform surgery and surgical assists.
• Evaluate and treat postpartum patients.
• Assist with OB residents and medical student education.
• Provide nurse support and education.
• Participate in emergency drills and simulations.
• Develop best practices; participate in clinical trials.
• Facilitate daily interdisciplinary board rounds to improve patient safety

Mercy Health - St. Rita’s Medical Center (SRMC) has been providing care to west central Ohio since 1918. OB/GYNs at SRMC pride themselves on providing preconception care and prenatal care to birthing classes and postpartum support. SRMC also offers 24-hour OB/GYN coverage, high‑tech fetal monitoring, pain management, maternal‑fetal medicine, and lactation services. SRMC currently sees approximately 1,500 annual deliveries.
