Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director to lead the development and long-term success of the OB-GYN Hospitalist program at our Dallas/Fort Worth market campuses.

The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and strategic direction, partnering with hospital leadership to ensure a high-performing, patient-centered service and to drive quality improvement across the service line.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in OB/GYN and eligible for hospital leadership roles.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and program development experience.
• Ability to drive quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OB-GYN hospitalist team.
• Lead program development including workflows, protocols, and team culture.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing leadership, and community OB/GYNs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship of hospitalist providers.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
