Job summary

Skagit Regional Health is seeking an OB Hospitalist to support our program at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Washington. This 0.5 FTE role offers 24/7 coverage for the Family Birth Center, with access to Level II NICU support and a collaborative care team.

You will perform L&D triage, ED consultations, and provide backup to midwives and other providers while mentoring residents and students in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program.
• Board Certification in OBGYN is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of practice experience is required.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Current AHA NRP certification and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certificate required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide L&D triage and ED consultations, with back-up from GYN as needed.
• Back up the employed midwife group, FM/OB providers, and other community delivering providers.
• This is a 0.5 FTE position with 42, 24-hour shifts per year.
