Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an experienced Obstetrician to join an established OB Hospitalist team in an On-Call/Per Diem capacity in Portland, OR. You will provide obstetric care, triage unassigned patients, back-up OB-GYN colleagues, and assist in surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years post-graduate obstetrics experience, OB hospitalist exposure, or fellowship training, and a commitment to diverse, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• On-Call/Per Diem position.
• 12-hour shifts, combination of day and night (7 to 7).
• OB only; No call required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5-years post-graduate clinical experience in Obstetrics, OB Hospitalist experience, and/or Fellowship trained.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work within a collaborative group of certified nurse midwives, family practice physicians, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in providing quality, coordinated care to families. You will be responsible for OB triage for unassigned patients, providing back-up assistance to OB-GYN private practice colleagues, and for surgical assists.
