Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, seeks an experienced board-certified Obstetrician to join its OB Hospitalist team. You will collaborate with certified nurse midwives, family medicine physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other OB-GYNs to provide high-quality, coordinated care for patients and families.

This part-time 0.5 FTE position features 12-hour day/night shifts (7 to 7) with no call required.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified Obstetrician with 5+ years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • OB Hospitalist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage OB triage for unassigned patients.
  • Provide backup support to OB-GYN physicians.
  • Perform surgical assists.

Job description

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician to join its established OB Hospitalist team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with certified nurse midwives, family medicine physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other OB-GYNs to provide high-quality, coordinated care for patients and families.


Responsibilities include managing OB triage for unassigned patients, providing backup support OB-GYN physicians, and performing surgical assists. Position Highlights

  • Part-time, fully benefited at 0.5 FTE (78 shifts per year)

  • 12-hour shifts, combination of day and night (7 to 7)

  • OB only; no call required


Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-years post-graduate clinical experience as Obstetrician, previous OB Hospitalist experience preferred
