Bayhealth is seeking OBGYN Hospitalists to join our growing team in Dover, Delaware. This position offers the chance to contribute to high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care within a leading regional health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical licensure.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN (BE/BC).
• Current CSR and DEA credentials.

Responsabilités

• Deliver age- and specialty-appropriate medical care including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Operate in four areas: clinician, teacher, leadership and professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care and outcomes.
• Monitor quality of care through service excellence and performance improvement.
• Provide leadership in the practice location and Bayhealth system.

Formation

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Appropriate state licensure

Completion of an OBGYN residency program

BE/BC in OBGYN

Bayhealth Medical Center is Central and Southern Delaware’s healthcare leader with hospitals in Dover and Milford, a s well as stand -alone Emergency Department in Smyrna and a hybrid E mergency Department and Urgent Care in Milton . We offer various practice settings throughout Kent and Sussex Counties. Bayhealth Medical Center Kent Campus is 90 minutes from Philadelphia, Washington, DC and Baltimore . Our Sussex Campus is 30 minutes to the Delaware beaches and relaxation in the sand!

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of age and specialty appropriate medical care through the process of assessment, evaluation, diagnosing, recognition and prevention of adverse events, treatment and follow-up.
• Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice – clinician, teacher, leadership and professional development.
• Collaborates with colleagues and other professional disciplines to ensure safe, effective, efficient and value added patient centered care and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
• Provides leadership in the practice location and throughout Bayhealth.
• Possesses excellent communication skills with patient, family, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, medical staff members, and all employees.
• Keeps quality and safety in the forefront in the delivery of patient care.
• Participates/supports the integrated continuum of care of patients within Bayhealth.
• In addition to job description requirements, incumbents must also meet minimum criteria for medical staff privileges.
