The role offers a balanced 50% obstetrics and 50% gynecology with opportunities to build a high-volume gynecologic surgery practice, including endometrial ablation and hysterectomies, in a Level III trauma hospital with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage prenatal and high-risk pregnancies

• Perform gynecologic surgery and endometrial procedures as interested
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and midwives and participate in call coverage

Job description

An established OB/GYN practice in west-central Minnesota, ~1 hour southeast of Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a full-time BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join a collaborative group of physicians and certified nurse midwives.

Position Highlights:

• Join an established practice with 1 OB/GYN physician, 1 Family Medicine/OB physician, and 2 certified nurse midwives
• Balanced practice consisting of approximately 50% obstetrics and 50% gynecology
• Opportunity to build a high-volume gynecologic surgery practice based on your interests
• Provide comprehensive care, including prenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, preventive gynecology, infertility, contraception, menopause management, and gynecologic surgery
• Perform procedures including endometrial ablation and hysterectomies
• 1:4 call coverage for a four-bed labor and delivery department and the emergency department
• Approximately 225 deliveries annually
• Established referral network spanning seven clinics and a primary specialty service area of approximately 70,000 people
• Practice within a Level III trauma hospital, with the nearest Level I trauma center approximately one hour away
• Utilize Epic EMR

Compensation and benefits:

• Guaranteed base salary starting at $380K annually for the first two years
• Additional earning potential based on production hours worked (wRVUs)
