Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program is required.
• Five years of ultrasound experience, preferably in OB/GYN, is preferred.
• Must hold one of the following credentials: RDMS, RVT, RT(S), RT(VS) and SCRQS certification, plus BLS.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures (e.g., abdominal and obstetric) per protocol.
• Reviews images for clarity; collaborates with radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
• Documents imaging findings and maintains accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Performs additional duties to support department and organizational goals.
