Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Must be eligible to sit for the applicable registry exam.
• Associate degree required.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic sonography exams per orders, protocols, and standards.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, history, and preparation before examinations.
• Explain procedures and protect patient privacy, dignity, and safety.
• Position patients and select transducers and imaging settings per exam.
• Document preliminary findings and ensure accurate data for interpretation.
• Communicate significant observations to radiologists and care team promptly.
• Maintain infection-prevention practices and ensure room and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with radiology staff to coordinate efficient patient care.
