Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT registered as Radiologic Technologist and/or Ultrasound (RDMS) or registry eligible in ultrasound.
• Current BCLS certification.
• 1 or more years of experience in general ultrasound.
• Graduate of School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Answers telephone calls professionally; prioritizing and communicating messages to the provider.
• Maintains accurate documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changes.
• Inputs ultrasound report into patient’s Athena chart and enters ultrasound charges the following business day.
• Maintains daily and monthly logs as required.
