Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Full-time Ultrasound Technologist to support the Fishers region with primary sites at IU Health Fishers/Saxony, East Washington Clinic, and USA Parkway. Staff should be comfortable working across multiple locations to ensure flexible scheduling.

0–3 years OB/GYN ultrasound experience required, strong patient care and communication skills, and independent operation of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience required.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment independently and adjust imaging as needed.
• Familiar with scan protocols and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging of patients' internal organs, tissues, and blood flow.
• Operate sonographic equipment with safety and professional standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for diagnostic information.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Possibly assist with intraoperative ultrasound as requested.
