Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an OB/GYN Sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across OB/GYN and Women’s Health Institute settings. The role involves communicating with physicians, patients, and care teams, with ongoing CME training and multi-site support across the institute.

The ideal candidate will have RDMS, strong ultrasound skills, and a commitment to patient safety and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• RDMS certification in OB/GYN or eligible. Expected to obtain within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Must complete five patient exams in each of 9 OB/MFM competencies and 9 GYN/REI competencies within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality OB/GYN ultrasound exams per AIUM guidelines.
• Assist with GYN/REI procedures and OB/MFM high-risk imaging.
• Complete reports, communicate findings, and assist physicians.
• Teach and train sonographers, students and residents; attend meetings.
• Maintain templates and ensure timely emergent ultrasounds.
