Responsibilities

  • Performs ultrasound examinations per scanning protocols and presents studies to physicians.

  • Teaches ultrasound procedures to residents, students, fellows, and new sonographers.
  • Maintains patient documentation and completes paperwork for procedures.
  • Develops films, monitors darkroom supplies, and ensures equipment readiness.
  • Maintains department policies, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Performs phlebotomy and injections when required.
  • Assists with front desk and clerical tasks as needed.
