Department: HOD HB OBGYN

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 1 / 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM

Pay Rate: $30.39 - $39.50 / hour (minimum to midpoint)

Summary

Offering a $5,000 sign-on incentive, $5,000 relocation assistance, and an $1,800/month housing stipend for 6 months (if located more than 50 miles away).

The OB/GYN Ultrasonographer provides ultrasound services to physicians and Advanced Practice Providers within Lee Physician Group. Responsibilities include performing scans at multiple sites for obstetric, gynecologic, and infertility patients, conducting sonographic exams, assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures via transabdominal and transvaginal methods, and analyzing sonograms. The role involves synthesizing sonographic data and medical histories, communicating findings via reports to physicians, and maintaining compliance with safety, infection control, and accreditation standards. The scope may include other procedures as permitted by law, based on education and competency. The ultrasonographer reports to the practice office manager.

Educational Requirements

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program (Required)

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years of sonography experience
• 1-2 years of OB/GYN experience (Required)

Preferred skills include OB/GYN physician office experience, 3D/4D uterine volume rendering, sonohysterography, and IUD placement guidance.

Licensure & Certification

Active ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization (Required). BLS and TROPHON certifications are required; the TROPHON can be obtained within 30 days of hire. CLEAR certification is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Ability to perform obstetric ultrasounds according to AIUM standards across all trimesters.
