UofL Health is seeking an OB/GYN sonographer for a part-time, first-shift role at our Louisville locations. The successful candidate will operate ultrasound equipment independently, adhere to department guidelines, and communicate results to the attending physician.

The position offers benefits eligibility and fully funded tuition for employee and dependents, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification or graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or cardiovascular technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Reviews patient chart for physician order and patient history.
• Prepares patient and equipment for appropriate exam.
• Presents scan to physician and communicates pertinent information.
• Disinfects probes according to guidelines.
• Enters patient reports into reporting system.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and supports scheduling and coordination.
