University Medical Center is seeking an OB/GYN sonographer for a part-time, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM schedule at our UofL Health outpatient location in Louisville, KY. The role includes no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties, with benefits eligibility and tuition support.

Responsibilities include reviewing charts, correlating history, preparing patients and equipment, and presenting scans to physicians while ensuring HIPAA compliance and efficient scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year OB/GYN ultrasound experience (preferred).
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ARDMS registered in OB/GYN within 9 months of hire date (required for OB/GYN dept).

Aufgaben

• Review patient chart for physician order and history.
• Correlate patient history with exam to be performed.
• Prepare patient and equipment for appropriate exam.
• Present scan to physician and communicate pertinent information.
