OB/GYN Sonographer - East Portland OBGYN Clinic

Description: Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Within 6 months of hire: Obtain National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• New graduates: Must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire. Must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• 2 years of OBGYN sonography experience for specific job codes.
