Responsibilities

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state nursing standards.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
• Evaluates health status through ongoing data collection and assessment.
• Provides health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed.
• May float to other departments based on business needs.
• May be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
