Job summary

The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C. in Davenport, Iowa seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead the billing, coding, insurance follow-up, and collections teams.

You will own the revenue cycle, drive improvements, and collaborate with executives and department leaders to enhance reimbursement and financial performance. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in medical billing/revenue cycle with leadership experience, strong data analysis, and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive medical billing, coding, or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing, coding, insurance reimbursement, denials, and A/R.
• Experience in a physician practice, OB/GYN, or specialty setting preferred.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and drive results.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the billing, coding, insurance, and collections team.
• Oversee the full revenue cycle from charge capture to collections.
• Identify opportunities to increase collections and reduce A/R.
• Analyze financial performance and monitor key metrics.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to improve workflows and reimbursement.
• Strengthen processes and build a high-performing department.
• Serve as escalation point for complex billing and payer issues.
