Job summary

Optimus Health Care in Bridgeport, CT seeks a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the OB/GYN team. Spanish working knowledge is preferred, and the role includes evening and Saturday rotations as part of a team-based care model.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing with CT licensure, 1–2 years of RN or LPN community health experience, and proficiency with EMR systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in our multilingual clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited registered nursing program approved by CT DPH with an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1–2 years RN experience or LPN in community health setting; telemedicine familiarity a plus
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
• Valid and current RN License to practice in Connecticut; CPR certification upon hire and recertification bi-annually

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients' health by implementing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients on their condition, medications, and self-care
• Ensure quality of care by following nursing standards and regulatory guidelines
• Facilitate clinical orientation for new hires under Nurse Manager
• Coordinate care with providers and monitor patient referrals and imaging
• Address patient concerns through multidisciplinary team strategies
• Maintain tracking systems for patient results and referrals as per policy
• Perform other related duties as assigned
