Job summary

Inova Health System actively seeks an OB/GYN Physician to join the Inova Cares for Women team. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The Ob/Gyn will provide obstetric and gynecologic care to uninsured and low-income communities in Northern Virginia, partnering with county health departments and community agencies to deliver prenatal and gynecologic services in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
• 2 years of experience after residency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Full spectrum OB/GYN practice in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Serve as Safety Officer for L&D and Women’s Hospital to support patient safety.
• Provide prenatal and gynecologic care for uninsured/low-income populations in Northern Virginia.
• Perform non-stress testing, LEEP and colposcopy procedures.
• Take on-call shifts: 12-hour calls at Inova Fairfax, 24-hour calls at Inova Alexandria Hospital; in-house call at Inova Fairfax with residents.
