Job summary

Optum in Northridge, CA is seeking an Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our clinical team serving a broad range of obstetric and gynecologic care in an ambulatory setting with a dedicated care team.

The clinic locations include Mission Hills and Northridge with a Monday–Friday schedule, a 5-person call rotation, and a typical daily patient load of 18–20. Deliveries and surgeries occur at a nearby hospital and ASC.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active, unrestricted CA medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Active BLS certification.
• Welcome 2025 grads.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in an ambulatory setting.
• Manage patient care for routine well-woman exams, prenatal and follow-up visits.
• Deliveries and surgeries performed at nearby hospital or ASC.
• Collaborate with a dedicated care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Typical daily patient volume of 18–20 in clinic.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Active BLS certification

• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,500 - $501,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
