Ob Hospitalists are in the hospital 24/7 to ensure consistent and timely care for every patient entering the labor and delivery unit or the obstetric emergency department.

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is a 921-bed hospital providing acute care and surgical services, serving the Winston-Salem community since 1964. The hospital is home to a 56-bed Level IV NICU, maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies, and educational classes for new parents. It is a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, a NICHE Designated Hospital, and has received NCQA Physician Quality Awards and Magnet Recognition. It also houses a breast center accredited by the American College of Surgeons.

Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center (NHKMC) offers comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care with a team of OB/GYNs, Nurse Midwives, Anesthesiologists, Neonatologists, and lactation consultants. NHKMC has recently been awarded a Grade A safety designation by the Leapfrog Group and has achieved Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence. It is opening a state-of-the-art birthing center in early 2024, featuring spacious delivery rooms with soaking tubs, prenatal classrooms, and lactation support rooms.
