Job summary

Bristol Health Medical Group seeks a full-time, BC/BE obstetrics and gynecology physician to provide inpatient and outpatient care in Bristol, CT. The ideal candidate will join an established practice with four other experienced physicians dedicated to women's health, including breast health, prenatal care, and labor and delivery coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and BE/BC with ABOG in OB/GYN.
• CT medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in CT.
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensure requirements documented.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care per standard of care.
• Maintain patient medical records per hospital and Joint Commission standards.
• Provide preauthorization and documentation for claims and correspondence.
• Assist with surveys and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide backup coverage for off-hours, holidays and weekends as scheduled.
