Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, seeks an experienced Physician (Obstetrics and Gynecology) to diagnose and treat a full range of female pelvic conditions, pregnancy care, and gynecologic disorders in a high‑volume military clinical setting.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, be licensed in the United States, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be prepared for on‑call duties and teaching responsibilities within the department.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an US/Canada-accredited school
• Current, active medical license in a US state or territory
• Completion of OB/GYN residency; board eligibility/certification preferred
• US citizenship as a basic requirement

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide range of female pelvic conditions, including pain, incontinence, abnormal bleeding, and sexual/reproductive health.
• Perform colposcopy and office/surgical treatment of vaginal and cervical dysplasia.
• Interpret imaging and provide consultations on images and exam reports.
• Examine and treat OB/GYN patients across ages, from pediatric to geriatric, including pregnancy care.
• Provide preventive care and education in the OB‑GYN clinic.
• Participate in Labor and Delivery: triage, manage laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum complications.
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for Labor and Delivery and emergencies.
• Guide and train students and staff in ambulatory OB‑GYN care and clinic policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
