Job Description

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a full-time OB/GYN physician.

Job Specifics:

  1. Employed group comprised of two OB/GYN physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. Seeking a third physician to meet growing volumes.
  2. Generalist scope of practice includes mix of obstetrics and gynecology.
  3. Service supported by 24/7 in house OB hospitalist coverage.
  4. Hospital performs 1400 deliveries per year on average; unit includes 14 labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum rooms.
  5. Level II nursery covered by 24/7 pediatric hospitalists.
  6. Work/life balance supported by very limited call arrangement.
  7. Excellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staff.
  8. Elbow to elbow EPIC support.
  9. Position eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation support.
