Job summary

Manchester OB-GYN Associates of Physicians for Women's Health in Manchester, CT, seeks a full-time Physician to support our OB-GYN practice affiliated with Women's Health Connecticut. The practice includes 4 MDs, 5 CNMs, and 1 PA, with responsibilities across two offices and hospital privileges.

Candidates must have OB/GYN experience, hold an MD or DO, be board eligible or certified, and possess CT licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health.
• MD or DO from accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Connecticut License.
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses.
• BLS certification.
• Eligible for hospital privileges.
• Effective communication (verbal and written), listening, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examination and compile patient data.
• Orders or performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations and basic wound care.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed regimens and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and follows hospitalized patients as appropriate.
• Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System.
• Billing submission at time of office visit.
