Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC, is seeking an OB/GYN to join two full-time physicians in a Lifepoint Health hospital-employed practice on the campus. The role offers a strong mix of OB and GYN with opportunities to expand the GYN practice and benefits from a Level II Nursery.

You will mentor and supervise nursing Midwives and APPs, share call with midwives on weekends, and rotate primary call on weekdays, with locum providers supporting work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Join two full time physicians in a strong multi-specialty group
• Good mix of OB and GYN, with opportunity to really expand a GYN practice
• Robust primary care base, significant community need, and strong hospital support
• Flexible schedule options
• Call shared equally with midwives taking first call on weekends. Physicians rotate primary call on weekdays. Locum providers in place to provide healthy work/life balance
• Practice on the hospital campus - no commute
• Level II Nursery
• Must be interested in mentoring and supervising nursing Midwives and APPs
• Close proximity to Cary, Apex, and the entire Research Triangle
