Job summary

Physician for Women's Health (PWH), affiliated with Women's Health Connecticut, seeks a full-time OB-GYN physician to join Manchester OB-GYN Associates in Manchester, CT. The practice currently staffs 4 MDs, 5 CNMs, and 1 PA, with equal call coverage and patient care at two office locations affiliated with Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Candidates diagnose conditions, provide treatment, and apply knowledge of fetal growth and age-specific care.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health.
• MD or DO from accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Connecticut medical license and licenses to prescribe controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and obtain health histories.
• Diagnose and treat OB-GYN conditions; order procedures and tests.
• Counsel patients on treatment plans, family planning, and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans; ensure continuity of care.
• Gain competency with the Electronic Medical Record system; assist with billing.
