Lucina is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join an established practice in New Britain, CT. The candidate will diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecologic conditions, develop patient management plans, and participate in patient education and care coordination.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility, Connecticut license, BLS, and eligibility for hospital privileges. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills required.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive obstetric/gynecologic exams and document health history.
• Order and perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, and wound care.
• Counsel patients on treatment plans, growth, family planning, and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Gain proficiency with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Submit billing at the time of office visits.

Physician for Women's Health (PWH), a proud affiliate of Women's Health Connecticut, is comprised of Physicians who demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide obstetrical and gynecological care, appropriate to the age of the patients served.

New Britain OB/GYN, of Physicians for Women's Health, located in New Britain CT, is seeking a full-time Physician to support our OB/GYN practice. Current MD staffing within the practice includes 6 MD's and 1 APRN. OB Providers take equal call and service patients in two office locations. The practice is affiliated with The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

Candidates must have the ability to diagnose patient conditions and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of fetal growth and development and have the ability to identify and categorize each patient's age specific grouping of needs.

Position Highlights:

• Perform comprehensive physical examination, and compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination.
• Orders or performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations and basic wound care.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans, follows hospitalized patients as appropriate, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
• Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System.
• Billing submission at time of office visit.
