Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our Akron team. The selected candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with extensive NICU and academic connections.

The role emphasizes clinical care, resident teaching, and collaboration within a robust, patient-centered care model. Epic EMR is used to coordinate care across services.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN clinical care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with a large, established group and midlevel/midwife teams.
• Engage in teaching residents and medical students.
• Participate in academic activities with NEOMED.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
