Job summary

Comprehensive Gynecology of CT, a Physicians for Women's Health affiliate, in Hamden, CT, seeks a full-time OB/GYN physician to support its practice. You will perform exams, manage patient care, and participate in on-call duties with other MDs and midwives.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
• MD or DO from accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible
• Connecticut License
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses
• BLS certification
• Eligible for hospital privileges
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and document health history
• Order or perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, and wound care
• Counsel patients on treatment plans, family planning, and health maintenance
• Develop and implement patient management plans and coordinate care
• Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System
• Billing submission at time of office visit
